I’m obsessed with anamorphic lens been used on the 5D. Still looking for any one having done something with split diopter like in the feature films: Star Trek: The Motion Picture and The Andromeda Strain from the 70′s.
Here are some short films I like:
One Flu. Two afternoon of shooting for the interviews, about a week of intermittent B-roll. 28gb of raw Canon 5 mark 2 video. 8gb of Sony EX2 footage (only used for sound), that equates to 150gb of Apple ProRes footage after conversion (that includes unused footage).
I learnt a lot about the 5d for video, custom white balance is a must and auto ISO is not a wise idea. I really liked using it and would love to more with a better rig for focusing and stability.
A big thanks to Lexi, Vegard, Gareth, Emma, Luke Taylor, Lee, Kristof and any one else who let me videotape them. The Canon 5d is an amazing camera for film and I can’t wait to do more.
I wasn’t aware that on average an extended bolus for low GI foods should be around 3 hours. For as long as I can remember I’ve been given myself “rage bolus” due to high blood sugar. Only to be hit with some really powerful headaches, more high blood sugar and latter some crazy hypos.
This small adjustment seems so obvious now. But its affects have had positives affects. Free of the splitting headache from large bolus deliveries I’ve felt good about myself, something I’ve not really felt in a while.
