At the start of last week I start my new job tutoring out at the university. I tutor first year students enrolled in Pt1110 Introduction to Digital Imaging. The subject is open to all students at the university not just photography students. This means there are people of varying degrees of skill. So far they all seem keen and baring some token “trouble makers” they all seem great and eager to learn.
Also I started work at my second new job this weekend. So far two days a week I work as a lab operator at one of the local Camera stores here in town. I’m in training and while every thing is straight forward it’s just a matter of getting into the swing of things. If the uni don’t offer me more work come the end of the semester then it’s to become my primary means of work.

Are they first year students? You might as well be teaching high school. Fuckers.
Most people get a clue toward the end of second year (in engineering anyway) and they’re much more fun to teach because they actually listen to you.
